If you want to get wet, but don't want to deal with the watching your kids so they don't drown in the pool scenario; Splash pads are nice and free and great for little kids.

There are large trees nearby for shade. There are no benches so bring a chair to sit on.
Josie: I like standing under the bucket and I think it's cool that the water turns off when no one is under it.
Claire: I like the buckets and the things that pop up.
Benjamin: The bucket fell on my head.
